{little miss giggles: 13th birthday}

My Little Miss Giggles (the nickname I used to use for her here in the online world) turned 13...um...a while ago... 😁...and I had promised her a photoshoot since I had done one for her older sister's 13th bday.  I have been doing photo shoots of them since well, forever...here are just a few of LMG...

So leetle!!  😍  All three of my kids, as well as my little sister, Lauren, have always been awesome at letting me experiment with them in whatever crazy ideas I might have photography-wise...like the huge rainbow tutu in that last picture...and last Friday was no exception!  It started out normal enough with a little bit in multiple places...

So grown up I can't stand it!!  But gorgeous. 😘

 My goofy boy wouldn't smile big enough to show his teeth. Ha. I told him I was going to get him to grin at some point...challenge accepted!

And then, since we were right there...a semi-recreation of an old pic! Slight differences we know, but it was still fun to do! 

My three littles are so not little anymore! But when I looked through my camera lens to take this picture on the right, I completely saw little them as they were on the left.  😊

Finally it was time for the last location! It was so hot outside and well...what better place to go?

"Great LMG!  Ok, now sit down!"

 Ha!  She's such a great sport! And always has the best expressions...always has. 😂

LMG, you're adorable.

Still working on getting that grin...In the meantime, he has a pretty good smolder...lol!

LMG, I had so much fun with all of you!  Thanks for being willing to go along with everything...scary big glasses filled to the top 😂...100 degree weather...and getting soaked from head to toe!  I'll see you again soon...for your 14th birthday...! 😬😂😇

{abby & kirsten: bffs}

 Part 2 of this week's photo session!  Kirsten came up to surprise me and hang out with Abby. They have been bffs since forever.  They were my campers at camp for years...(insert flashback music...🎶)

So many fun memories of them together!!

I asked them to tell me their earliest memories of each other...which brought a lot of laughs as they thought back to when they were both little.  :) So fun to listen to them reminisce. 

 Also, Kirsten has some great facial expressions...!  😄

Abby is like me in that she's not always exactly a huggy person... 😂

But when it's your best friend, you have to be ok with it sometimes. 😀

Oh my heart! 💜 I still see little them when I look at this picture. I was having to make myself not tear up when going through all these!  

Girls, you were so much fun when you were little...and you're a whole new kind of fun now! 

Kirsy, you are such a bright ray of sunshine and I most definitely needed some you in my life this week! You and Abby balance each other's personalities which makes the best combination. 😊  Thanks for the awesome conversations this week...I can't wait to see where you are a year from now...!! 😉😘

I'm not sure how much more my heart can take this week of little people growing up and graduating!!

 These two tiny girlies {my nieces} visited my dorm room when I was in college...the same college they both go to now - and Abby, the one next to me, graduates tomorrow!  😱  

She asked to come hang out with me for a couple days this week and requested some senior pictures. So Mel...here ya go...! 😉

Abby, I am so stinking proud of you. I love you absolutely to pieces. And I can't wait to see what God has in store for you.  My Africa room is always open - come see me anytime!  💜💜💜
