{claire: senior pics}

I have watched this little pipsqueak grow over the years from the time she was a baby...to the time I potty trained her (Sorry, Claire...that's just always gonna go with the story of you and me pretty much for forever...! 😂)...to so many summers at camp...to now getting to take her senior pictures and watching her getting ready to graduate from high school in the spring!

Clairebear, I will always love the memories of little you, but I love hanging out with this gorgeous grown up girl who God is going to continue to refine into the passionate, strong, warrior for Christ that He has created you to be! I can't believe you're graduating but I can't wait to see what all He has in store for you! I will always be here if you ever need me...and if you happen to decide to choose a certain college...you know there's an Africa room waiting for you if you'd like it!  😉

I love you!

{abby: senior pics}

I'm not sure how much more my heart can take this week of little people growing up and graduating!!

 These two tiny girlies {my nieces} visited my dorm room when I was in college...the same college they both go to now - and Abby, the one next to me, graduates tomorrow!  ðŸ˜±

She asked to come hang out with me for a couple days this week and requested some senior pictures. So Mel...here ya go...! 😉

Abby, I am so stinking proud of you. I love you absolutely to pieces. And I can't wait to see what God has in store for you.  My Africa room is always open - come see me anytime!  ðŸ’œðŸ’œðŸ’œ

There was another aspect to this week as well...and there will be a second post coming up shortly...!  ðŸ˜‰

{reegan: senior pics}

Not at all sure how it is already time for senior pictures for this girl!! I have known Reegan since she was three years old when I taught her big sister in my third grade class.   After that year, I became close friends with their family and have gotten to watch Reegan grow into a beautiful young woman even though I don't see her family now nearly as much as I would like.

But life continues and no matter how much I would sometimes like to stop them, the little kids I used to take care of have a habit of growing up...so yesterday we met downtown in the beautiful (finally!) warm spring weather for a senior photo shoot.  Here is just a glimpse of some of my favs...

These stairs below were a recent project here in kville and are now so fun and colorful - so you know this was going to be one of our stops!

I realize the lighting on this one is a bit bright but I think it's super cute anyways. :)

 Ok I love this because with her hair flipped back, I can see a glimpse of little reegan in this one. <3

And then a couple classic Knoxville shots that everyone needs.  :)

 Congratulations on graduating (in a couple weeks), Reegan! So proud of you and can't wait to see what God has in store for you!

{emily: sr pics}

Somehow, this adorable, sweet, funny little girl has grown up in the blink of an eye and is a beautiful senior in highschool!  I am still in denial about this fact until I remember that if she goes to college next year where her sister is, she will be much closer to me and can come "home" to my house on any weekend she needs to get away...and then I'm more ok with her graduating.  :D

A few weeks ago I got to do some photos of her up in the mountains and after the delay of a couple computer problems...here are a few sneak peeks.  :)

*my favorite* :)

Love you, Em!  Can't wait to watch and see what God has in store for your life!  :)

{josh: senior pics}

I've done a lot of Maddox and Eli lately...but last week I did some pics of a different Beck.  Their older brother, Josh, graduates from highschool in just about a month and a half (!).  When I first met Josh, he was a fifth grader...and since his little sister is my "little sister" and at one time put a bunch of her pics on my computer, I was able to go back and pull these up...  ;)

These were taken just yesterday, I promise!!  Oh wait... :}

So this is Josh today as a senior.  He was thrilled about having his very own photo session (haha), so instead of getting cheesy smiles out of him, we went with mostly the "smolderingly hot" look...

Again...one more look at Josh a few years ago with Catrina, his mom...

And now for my absolute favorite picture from this session!  My family has a picture of my brother doing this with my mom - and it's most definitely one of my mom's favorites, so I asked Josh to do it, knowing that Catrina would be willing to try it too.

LOVE IT!

...and this one...  ;)

Thanks for going along and doing this session for your mom, Josh!  :)
I had fun hanging out with y'all.
And congratulations a little early on your graduation!
